30 years experience

His and Hers Catering is made up of two highly experienced chefs, Mathew Lewis & Sheena Booth between the two bringing 30 years of experience in the hospitality trade to your next event.
Both are passionate about great quality seasonal food produced with love and respect.

Best wedding food around! We had Sheena and Mat cater for our wedding and everything was absolutely amazing!!! We had most guests make comments on the food and multiple mentions that it was the best wedding food they have ever eaten! From the presentation to the taste, the food was absolutely stunning!!! Couldn’t recommend His & Hers more!! Sheena also allowed the flexibility to create exactly what suited us which we loved - being foodies ourselves!! 11/10 stars! I wouldn’t look anywhere else! We used His & Hers Catering for our wedding in the Catlins in April, and were so incredibly happy with their service. From booking, to choosing our menu, to the food being served on the day - everything was made so easy for us. Not to mention how delicious the food was - we had so many comments from guests (and are still getting them 4 months later!) about how much they loved the dinner. We wanted an entirely gluten free menu, which was so easy to achieve with almost all of His & Hers' dishes being GF anyway. Highly recommend His & Hers to anyone needing catering - I now just wish I lived in Dunedin and could eat their delicious food more often!

Had Sheena and her team do the catering for my wedding on the peninsula and i couldn't recommend them more.
It was very easy to chat with Sheena and agree about what we wanted for the day, a shared family style food selection on each table. Then the day came and the food we got was on another level.
Been to a few weddings in my time and never have i seen so many people rave about the food (my Vegan mates are still trying to find out where she got her vegan cheese from, as they've never had anything like that).
Her and her staff were very pleasant and courteous, making sure everything was presented and cleaned out with a minimum of disruption. They made the day easy, which as the groom was one thing i really appreciated.

Would fully recommend Sheena and will definitely be using her for any functions in the future.

Sheena at His and Hers was a pleasure to work with in preparation for our April wedding. Very accommodating when we had several changes to our final guest count, and made the menu planning a breeze. When it came to our big day, the canapes were an absolute HIT (people were raving about the satay skewers and arancini!) and the meal was perfection. Juicy meat, fresh roast veges, and a lot of delicious flavours that we LOVED. Thank you very much.

The team at His and Hers are amazing. They were efficient, organised and accommodated all of our needs and requirements. Feeding 100 people with different food requirements can be hard but they made it easy, and everyone raved about their food. Thank you for making the event so great.

His & Hers are amazing! Great food options and the dishes we selected for our Christmas function were simply delicious - especially the Cinnamon Oysters! The team are easy to deal with so will definitely be using again.
